Checking the wheels for damage,
foreign objects and wear
 Secure the truck to prevent it from rolling
away.
 Place a wheel chock under a wheel that will
not be lifted.
 Liftthetruckusingahydra
ulic jack until the
wheels are off the ground.
 Place a hardwood block underneath the
truck.
 Check for free movement of the wheels and
remove anything hindering their movement.

The upper edge of the 60 Joule indicator (1)
is the maximum limit for wear and regrooving.
The decision about whether to regroove the
tyres should be based on the application
conditions.
A minimum tread depth is not required with
solid rubber tyres.
It must be ensured tha
t the degree of wear on
the tyres on one axle i
s the same.
 Change worn or damaged tyres.
