TROUBLESHOOTING: Troubleshooting
Pendant buttons
do not respond.
Pendant
hardware
damage
All Pendants:
• Check to see if the AIRO Pendant buttons get stuck in
the “on/pressed” position. If damage is evident
contact service.
Detachable Pendant:
• Power AIRO down.
• Install new Pendant.
• If problem repeats contact service.

section 13.3 Maintenance with Detachable Pendants.
Hardwired
Pendant touch
screen locks up
during scan
sequence.
A hardware
issue or
software conflict
has occurred
during the scan
sequence.
Hardwired Pendant:
• Restart AIRO. If the problem persists contact service.
Mid Scan Workaround
If this issue occurs in the middle of the scan sequence,
use a USB mouse to complete the scan and ensure that
the patient’s accumulated dose is not increased. To use
a USB mouse:
1. Plug a standard, wired USB mouse into the USB
port of the system Control Panel located under the
Pendant Holster.
2. With the mouse, make all on-screen selections
required to complete the scan sequence.
3. When the scan sequence is complete, remove the
mouse cable from the USB port and restart AIRO.
Detachable
Pendant
touchscreen
locks up, shows
distorted
images, or goes
blank.
A hardware
issue, a
software
conflict, or an
electrostatic
discharge (ESD)
has occurred.
Mid-Scan Workaround for Detachable Pendant:
Although Mobius Imaging cautions against performing
the following during normal operation (see section
13.3.2), if this issue occurs in the middle of a scan
sequence — when powering down the system could
cause a lost scan or otherwise result in unused
dose — do the following to ensure that the patient's
accumulated dose is not increased.
• Remove and reinstall Detachable Pendant
WITHOUT
powering down AIRO.
• If the problem persists, contact service.
Outside of Scan Sequence:
If this issue occurs during normal operation while
setting up scans, viewing 3D-scan results, performing
system maintenance, or transporting the system:
• Restart AIRO.
• For systems with Detachable Pendants only:

Power AIRO down.

Disconnect and reconnect the pendant.
• If the problem persists, contact service.
