3. Select an AP image from the AP Image Upload Table and click the Update AAP Image button.
AP Type identifies the Access Port model. MAC Address is the MAC address of the AP selected. Fw
Version gives you the current firmware version on the Access Port. Use this information to assess whether
the software requires an upgrade for better compatibility with the Switch.
4.9.6.3 Updating an AAP Image/Firmware using SFTP
You can update an AAP image from an external SFTP server using the SFTP Image Update button. To
update using SFTP:
1. Select Networks > Access Port from the main menu tree.
2. Click the AP Firmware tab.
3. Click the SFTP Image Update button.
AP MAC Address is the device MAC address. Ensure that this is the actual hard-coded MAC address of the
device. File Name is the name of the AP image. Server IP Address gives you the IP address of the SFTP
