14.2.4 Data Readout
At the end of each programmed Exposure-Shift cycle, the data stored on the CCD are
transferred to computer memory.
14.2.5 Binning
As with standard data readout, Binning may be implemented to reduce readout times.
NOTE:
Refer to Section 5.8.3, Binned Readout (Hardware Binning),
on page 76 for complete information about binning readout
data.
Figure 14-12 illustrates a block diagram and the timing diagram for data readout for a 4 row
Kinetics frame with no binning.
Figure 14-13 illustrates a block diagram and the timing diagram for data readout for a 4 row
Kinetics frame using 2 x 1 binning.
