15.5.1ManagementTrafficandEthernetServiceSeparation
YoucandefineaVLANIDformanagementtrafficseparation.Youshouldconfigurethesystem
topreventconflictsasdetailedbelow.
Whenconfiguredforthedefaultoperationalmode,a“Providerport”willhandleingress
trafficasfollows:
• FiltersframesthatarenottaggedwiththeProviderVLANID
• RemovestheProviderdoubletag
Therefore,ifaportisconfiguredformanagementtrafficseparationbyVLANandas‘Provider
port’,thenthereceivedmanagementframesmustbedoubletaggedasfollows:
