SNMPv3: RADWIN2000+SeriessupportsSNMPv1andSNMPv3eitherseparatelyor
together.Thelogonprocedurediff ersslightlybetweenoperationunder
SNMPv1andSNMPv3.Table 52showsthedifferencebetweenSNMPv1and
SNMPv3atlogontime.
UserTypes: TheRADWINManagerprovides threelevelsofaccessinoneoftwoentry
modes.Toseethem,clickOptionsatanytimeintheLogonwindow(Figure 5
2above).Youareofferedanextendedlogonwindow:
TheLocalConnectionmethodusesbroadcastpacketsto“discover
theattachedradiounit.
IfyoulogonusingLocalConnection,butyourphysicalconnectionis
notlocal,thenanyconfigurationyoucarryoutmayaffectotherlinks
inthenetwork.Donotdothis!
