3.5.1AdditionalOutdoorSiteRequirements
Theambientoutdooroperatingtemperatureshouldbe‐35to60C(‐31to140F).
3.5.2AdditionalIndoorSiteRequirements
Thefollowingrequirementsguaranteeproperoperationofthesystem:
• ForIDU‐C/IDU‐H/HPandRADWIN2000iunits,allowatleast90cm(36“)offrontclear‐
anceforoperatingandmaintenanceaccessibility.Allowatleast10cm(4“)clearanceat
therearoftheunitforsignallinesandinterfacecables
• Theambientoperatingtemperatureshouldbe0to50°C(32to122°F)atahumidityof
upto90%,noncondensing
3.6Stage3:RFSurvey
Atthisstage,youmustexaminethewirelessenvironmentoftheinstallationsite,to
determinewhetherthereareavailablechannelswithintheradiooperatingfrequencyband.
AnRFsurveyisperformedusingaspectrumanalyzer.
Familiarizeyourselfwiththespectrumanalyzerbeforegoingoutonsite,specificallytheMax
HoldandMarkerfunctions.
PerformtheRFsurveyatbothproposedlinksites.
TheIDU‐radiocablelengthlimitis100m,inaccordancewith10/100BaseT
interface.
