Master Amount Detection
The master amount sensor [A] detects the amount of master that remains on the
roll. To do this, it counts the slits [B] in the flange while the flange turns. The speed
of rotation increases when the diameter of the master roll decreases. From the
measured speed of rotation, the CPU calculates the remaining amount of master
on the roll.
The display panel shows the remaining master amount when the main switch is
turned on, if the remaining amount of master is less than half.
NOTE: User Tools – System Settings – Mode Setting – Master/Ink Remaining
Volume must be “On”. The default is “Off”.
