C.3. SPECIFICATION OF SVAN 979 AS 1/1 OCTAVE - 1/12 OCTAVE ANALYSER
SVAN 979 can operate as 1/1-octave, 1/3-octave, 1/6-octave or 1/12-octave analyser conforming to the
international IEC 61260-1:2014 standard for the pass band filters.
Note: Simultaneously to the frequency analysis SVAN 979 operates as Level Meter! See Chapters
C.1 and C.2 for specification.
Signal input
Connector: 7 pin Lemo.
Maximum input voltage: the SVAN 979 meets the requirements IEC 348 for the 2
nd
class device. The input
voltage shall not exceed the limits between 0 V and 28 V.
Impedance: 150 k / 100 pF.
IEPE transducer or preamplifier powering: 28 V / 1.5 mA or 4.5 mA current source, user-selectable (path:
<Menu> / Instrument / IEPE Current: 1.5 mA as default).
Linear Operating Ranges
Two measurement ranges are available: “LOW” and "HIGH"
