Whentheauxiliaryvalvecontrolswitchisintheidleposition,thevalveallows
hydraulicuidtopassthroughtheauxiliaryvalvemanifold,outportP2,andonto
themainhydraulicmanifold.Whentheauxiliaryvalvecontrolswitchissettothe
leftposition,solenoidS1isenergizedanduidowisdirectedtotheAportof
theauxiliaryvalvemanifold(malequickdisconnecttting).Whentheauxiliary
valvecontrolswitchissettotherightposition,solenoidS2isenergizedand
uidowisdirectedtotheBportoftheauxiliaryvalvemanifold(femalequick
disconnecttting).
Whenthehydrauliccomponentcontrolledbytheauxiliaryvalvereachestheend
ofitsstroke,orifthecomponentispreventedfrommoving,thereliefvalve(R4)
inthesteeringcontrolvalveopensanddirectsthehydraulicowthroughthe
mainmanifoldandbacktothegearpump(P2)untiltheauxiliaryvalvecontrol
switchisreleased.Theauxiliaryvalvecircuitpressureislimitedto7,000to
7,500kPa(1,015to1,088psi).
