AcompressormountedontheleftsideoftheenginedrivenbyasingleV−belt.
Acondenserassemblywithtwo(2)condenserfanslocatedoutsidetherear
ofthecabroofassembly.
Anevaporator,adrier−receiverandanexpansionvalvemountedinthe
headlinerofthecab.
Arefrigerantpressureswitch
Athermostat
Anevaporatorfreezeswitch
3relays(condenserfans,airconditioningswitchsignal,compressorclutch)
Thenecessaryhosesandtubesthatconnecttheairconditioningsystem
components.
Ablowerfanmotorthatprovidesairmovementthroughtheevaporatorand
intothecab.Thefanmotorisacomponentofthemixingboxlocatedinthe
cabheadliner.Thefanmotorisalsousedforthecabheatingsystem.
Operatorcontrolstoturntheairconditioningon,toadjustthefanspeedand
tocontrolthecabairtemperature.
AirConditioningPerformance
Thereareanumberoffactorsthatcanaffecttheperformanceofthemachineair
conditioningsystem.Toensurethatthesystemoperatesatitsbest,inspectthe
followingcomponents.
Makesurethattheheatercontrolfullyclosestheheatervalveinthecab
headliner.
Makesurethatthecondenserandevaporatornsarenotobstructedand
clean.
Verifythatrefrigerantchargequantityandsystemoperatingpressuresare
correct.
Makesurethatexposedmetalsurfacesinsidecabareinsulated.
Iftheambienttemperaturesexceeds43C(110F)applyadditionalwindow
tintingtolowerthesolarheatloadtothecab.
