TheTDMdisplay/controllerisanLCDdevicelocatedontheoperator’sconsole
thatpresentsoperatinghoursandenginecoolanttemperatureforallmodels,
andelectricalsystemvoltage,engineRPMformodels31902and31903.The
displaywillalsopresentactivemachineandenginefaults.
ThedisplayscreenselectbuttonlocatednexttotheTDMisusedtoselectthe
variousdisplayscreens.Pressthescreenselectbuttononce,pressandholdthe
button,orpressthebuttontwicequicklytonavigatearoundthedisplayscreens.
Abi-colorLEDisincorporatedintotheTDMdisplay/controllerpanel.TheLED
isgreenduringnormaloperationandashesredwhenanactivemachineor
enginefaultispresent.PowerfortheTDMisavailablewhenthemainpower
relayisenergized(keyswitchisintheONorSTARTposition).A15Ampfuse
(FB1–F4)protectstheTDMpowercircuit.
TheTDMdisplay/controllerisalsoa2001seriesmicrocontrollerthatmonitors
theconditionofvariousmachineswitchesandsensors(inputs)anddirects
electricalpowertocontrolappropriatemachinefunctions(outputs)basedonthe
stateoftheinputs.Thestatusofinputstothecontrollercanbemonitoredwith
theTDMdisplay/controllerscreens;refertoUsingtheTDMDisplay/Controller
ScreensforTroubleshooting(page3–12).
TheTDMdisplay/controller,theYanmarEngineControlUnit(ECU)(models
31902and31903),andtheoptionalcontrollers(futureattachments)usedonthe
Groundsmaster3200/3300/3310machinescommunicatewitheachotherona
ControllerAreaNetwork(CAN)bussystem.
