willtellyouifthechargingsystemhasanoutput,butnotitscapacity.
1.Checktomakesureeachalternatordrivebeltisnotloose,wornordamaged.
2.TurnthekeyswitchtotheONpositionandsettheTDMdisplay/controller
screentoviewthevoltmeter(batteryicon).
3.Recordtheinitialsystemvoltage.
4.Starttheengineandwarmtheenginetonormaloperatingtemperature.
5.SettheengineRPMto2300RPM.
6.Turnonalladditionalsystemloads(e.g.lights,blower).
7.Thesystemvoltageshouldbeatleast0.5volthigherthentheinitialvoltage
recordedinstep3.
8.Ifthechargingsystemperformanceislessthandesired,refertotheYanmar
ServiceManualorTroubleshootingManualforadditionalinformation.
