1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunit(orattachment),
engagetheparkingbrake,setthekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionandremove
thekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.ReadandadheretotheinformationprovidedinGeneralPrecautionsfor
RemovingandInstallingtheHydraulicSystemComponents(page5–52).
3.Cleanthettingandhydraulichoseconnectionsbeforedisconnectingthe
hydraulichosestopreventsystemcontamination.
4.Disconnectthehydraulichoses.Capthettingsandplugthehosesto
preventsystemcontamination.
5.Removethefastenersfromthecylinderballjoints.Discardthecotterpin.
6.Useasuitabletool(picklefork)toseparatetheballjointsfromtherearaxle
andtherightrearwheelspindle.
7.Inspectthecylinderballjointbootsandreplacetheballjointsifnecessary.
