RemovingtheSteeringControlValve
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunit(orimplement),
engagetheparkingbrake,setthekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionandremove
thekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Removethesteeringcoverfastenersandraisethesteeringcover.
3.ReadandadheretotheinformationprovidedinGeneralPrecautionsfor
RemovingandInstallingtheHydraulicSystemComponents(page5–52).
4.Cleanthehydraulictubeends,andttingsonthecontrolvalvetoprevent
contaminantsfromenteringintothehydraulicsystem.
5.Labelandremovethehydraulictubesfromthettingsonthecontrolvalve.
Allowthetubestodrainintoasuitablecontainer.
6.Installcleancapsandplugsonthehydraulictubesandttingstoprevent
systemcontamination.
