TheTDMdisplay/controllerandtheYanmarEngineControlUnit(ECU)used
ontheGroundsmaster3300/3310machinecommunicatewitheachother
onaControllerAreaNetwork(CAN)bussystem.Allwireharnesselectrical
connectorsshouldbepluggedintotheECUbeforethemachinekeyswitchis
movedfromtheOFFpositiontoeithertheONorSTARTposition.TheengineECU
isattachedtotheundersideoftheoperator’splatform.
Avarietyofengineelectricalcomponents(e.g.ECU,fuelinjectors,EGR
sensor,exhaustDPFsensor,etc.)areidentiedandmatchedintheengine
ECUprogram.Ifengineelectricalcomponentsarereplacedontheengine,
theYanmarSmartAssist–Directtool(SA-D)mustbeusedtoupdatetheECU
programtoensurethattheengineoperatescorrectly.TheYanmarSA-D
connectorislocatedbehindtheoperator’sconsole.
