Thecuttingunithightrimheightswitchisanormallyopenproximityswitchthat
closeswhentheliftarmsarelowered.Theswitchmountstoabracketonthe
machineframebehindtherightfrontwheel.Thesensingelementforthehigh
trimheightswitchisthesensingplatethatissecuredtotherightsideliftarm.
Whentheliftarmisintheloweredposition,thesensingplatewillbenearthe
switchfaceandtheswitchwillbeclosed.Whentheliftarmisraised,thesensing
platemovesawayfromthepositionswitchfaceandtheswitchopens.
WiththekeyswitchintheRUNposition,theLEDonthecableendofthehightrim
heightswitchshouldbeilluminatedwhentheliftarmisintheloweredposition.
UseasmallmirrortoviewtheLEDifnecessary.
TheTDMdisplay/controllermonitorsthepositionofthehightrimheightswitch.
Usingthehightrimheightswitchposition(openorclosed)andavarietyofother
inputs,theTDMdisplay/controllermanagesavarietyofmachinefunctions.
AdjustingtheCuttingUnitHighTrimHeightSwitch
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunit(orattachment),
engagetheparkingbrakeandsetthekeyswitchtotheOFFposition.
2.Thecuttingunithightrimheightswitchshouldhavea3.3to3.8mm(0.13to
0.15in)clearancebetweenthesensingeyeoftheswitchandthesensing
plate.
