11.Releasethetractionpedal,shutofftheengine,rotatethefrontwheelbeing
tested90°Testagainandrecordtheowmeterreading.
12.Releasethetractionpedal,shutofftheengine,rotatethefrontwheelbeing
tested180°Testagainandrecordtheowmeterreading.
13.Usetheaverageofthe3owmeterreadingstojudgethefrontwheel
motorperformance.Testingofwheelmotorleakageinthe3differentwheel
positionswillprovidethemostaccuratetestresults.Theowthrougha
stationaryfrontwheelmotorshouldbe:
•Model31900and31901=lessthan4L/minute(1gallons/minute)
•Model31902,31903,31907and31909=lessthan3.4L/minute(0.9
gallons/minute)
14.Ifspecicationsarenotmet,replaceorrepairthewornwheelmotor;referto
WheelMotors(page5–82)orWheelMotorService(page5–86).
15.Aftertesting:
A.Removethehydraulichosesandtester.
B.Removeallcapsandplugsandconnectallhydrauliclinesandhoses.
C.Checkandadjustthelevelofthehydraulicuidinthehydraulicreservoir;
refertothetractionunitOperator’sManual.
D.Starttheengineandcheckforanyhydraulicuidleaks.Repairhydraulic
leaksifnecessarybeforereturningthemachinetoservice.

torotate.
1.Raiseandsupportbothfrontwheels;refertoJackingInstructions(page1–6).
2.Raisethehood.
3.Cleanthebulkheadandhosettingsoneachsideofthemachine.
