Ahotengineandexhaustsystemcancauseburns.
Allowtheexhaustsystemcomponentstocoolbeforeworkingonor
nearthem.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunit(orattachment),
engagetheparkingbrake,setthekeyswitchtotheOffpositionandremove
thekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Raisethehoodandallowtheexhaustsystemtocoolbeforeservicingthe
exhaustsystemcomponents.
3.Removeandinstalltheexhaustsystemcomponentsifnecessary.
•Donotreuseexhaustgaskets.Cleananyremaininggasketmaterialfrom
thegasketsurfacesandinstallanewgasketduringassembly.Donotuse
anytypeofgasketsealantonexhaustgasketsorgasketsurfaces.
•Ensurethatallexhaustsystemconnectionsarefreeofdebrisordamage
thatmaycauseanexhaustleak.
