5.13 Simulation Function
The product has a function to simulate the input of the function block as if the data is received
from the transducer block. This function makes it possible to test the function block and alarm-
processing system on the downstream side.
To prevent this function from being mistakenly activated while running, a simulation switch is
implementedasa“key”ontheamplier.Ifthisswitch(SW1-1)ismovedtotheONside,the
simulationisenabled.(SeeFigure13.1.)IfSIM_ENABLE_MSGofthemaintenancetransducer
block(index2922)andREMOTELOOPTESTSWITCHarewritteninordertodothesamething
from remote, it activates the same operation as when the above switch is turned ON. However,
thevalueofthisparameterislostwhenthepoweristurnedo󰀨.Analarmoccursfromthe
resource block in a state where a simulation is possible. After use, swiftly prohibit simulation.
Thisfunctioncanbeconguredwiththefollowingparameters.
