The EDR Max input level results page displays.
Overall BER: Number of payload bits received by the MT8852B in error as a
percentage of the total number of payload bits received, expressed in
exponent format. (0.1% displayed as 1 E -4). Note that according to
the Bluetooth specification, packets not looped back by the EUT as a
result of a sync check failure or header check failure are not included
in the measurement.
Bits in error: The actual number of bits transmitted in error by the EUT.
Packets sent: The actual number of packets transmitted to the EUT by the
MT8852B. This can be greater than the expected number if the EUT
is dropping packets and the payload packet count is set to
“Received”. This is because the MT8852B will continue to transmit
packets until the EUT has looped back the required number of bits
even if some packets are lost by the EUT.
Pkts in error: The number of packets incorrectly transmitted by the EUT. This
includes, Nack'ed packets, Implicitly Nack'ed packets, packets with
CRC errors, packets looped back with the incorrect length, and lost
packets.
3. Press the [Extended] soft key to display more detailed test results. Unlike the summary
page shown above, the extended pages are specific to each of the test scenarios. For
example, if a test is performed at high, medium, and low frequencies, with hopping both
on and off, there would be six extended pages. An example of the first extended page is
shown below.
4. Page through the extended screens with the soft key in the normal manner, or press the
[Summary] soft key to revert to the initial summary page.
