Modulation Index Test
This test measures the modulation characteristics on the EUT output for each of the selected
frequency ranges (LOW, MEDIUM and HIGH).
The Null packet is analyzed and measurements are made when a suitable wave pattern is
identified. Delta f2 max is calculated when a 010 or 101 bit pattern is identified. Delta f1
max is calculated when a 111 or 000 bit pattern is identified.
The test is repeated until the number of packets has been measured on each of the selected
frequencies as set in the "Number of packets" field.
The table below details the test conditions and the associated default settings. Permitted
variations from the default setting are detailed in the “User Range” column.
