MT8852B Operation Manual PN: 13000-00205 Rev. N 7-1
Chapter 7 — Running a Script in
Standard Mode
7-1 Standard Mode
In Standard mode, the MT8852B uses full test mode signalling and all the defined test
controls to test the EUT in the fastest and most efficient way possible.
7-2 Supported Tests
The table below lists the tests that are supported in Standard mode on the MT8852B for each
of the Bluetooth test types.
(#1) Not available on the MT8852B-043.
(#2) MT8852B and MT8852B-042 only.
(#3) MT8852B-043 and option 27 installed units only. Option 35 is required to support tests
on 2LE (Mbps) signals and Option 36 is required to support BLR (long range) signals. In
addition, if Option 34 is installed, the test cases can be completed at the maximum packet
length supported by the DUT.
Note
Standard mode is the default mode setting, although for EUTs with only a limited
implementation of test mode functionality, operation in standard mode may result in
the EUT dropping the link or failing to respond to commands. In this case, select
"Single payload" or "Null packet" mode as outlined in the following chapters.
