14-3 Testing the EUT Receive Path
The performance of the EUT receiver can be tested in isolation with the set-up shown below.
As a replacement for the external audio IN, it is also possible to use an internally generated
tone. Use of this tone is ideal for quick tests and, as it is generated internally, it does not pass
through the MT8852B CODEC. The tone is fixed at 1 kHz. For measurement at other
frequencies use of external audio is required.
1. Follow the procedure for "Testing the Audio Performance using Remote Loopback" but
set the "SCO Loopback" setting to "OFF".
2. Set the "SCO tone generator" on page 2 of 3 to "ON" or "OFF" as required.
