7-3 Testing in Standard Mode
1. Configure the script as outlined in chapter 5, ensuring that “Script mode” is set to
“STARNDARD”. Refer to chapter 5, “Configuring Script Specific Settings”.
2. Select the EUT address “Source” settings to match the configuration in use. Refer to
chapter 6.
3. Press to access the test group page.
4. Press to move the cursor to the script number.
5. Select the script to be run using either of the methods below:
• Press , enter the required script number from the keypad, and press
[Enter].
• Press [List], use the up and down arrow keys on the keypad to move the cursor to
the desired script and press .
6. Press to run the script once, or press to run the test script in
accordance with the instrument-wide script parameters outlined in chapter 5.
7. If required, press the [Abort] soft key to terminate the script immediately. Press
again to stop at the end of a script.
8. Press the [Results] soft key to view the test results.
9. The results given on the initial page are a summary of the tests conducted. For more
detailed results press the "Extended" soft key. An extended page displays for each of
the test combinations. For example, if a test is performed at high, medium, and low
frequencies, with hopping on and off, there may be up to six extended pages, and the
user can page through these in the normal manner by pressing the "1 of 6" soft key.
Note
A cable connection with the EUT (RS232, 2-Wire, USB->RS232 or USB->2-WIre)
is required if low energy scripts are included in the script to be run.
Note
The "Follow Test" setting ( > MT8852B > Display/sound > [1 of 2]) allows
the user to select whether to display the “Extended” or “Summary” results pages
while the tests are being performed. If "Follow test" is set to "OFF", the results
pages must be displayed by the user when the script is complete.
