D-1 Error Messages
The vast majority of the top line error messages are self-explanatory and the required course
of action will be immediately apparent. The table below lists the messages for which a note of
explanation may be required.
Table D-1. Error Messages
Message Meaning
AFH option not installed Displays when the AFH enable is sent to a non AFH option
enabled unit.
Audio option not installed Displays when a SCO connection request is sent to a non
SCO option enabled unit.
Authentication failure The EUT has requested Authentication from the MT8852B in
order to complete a connection. Set the “Authentication” item
under Equipment Under Test to “Enabled”.
BLE only option installed An attempt to select Basic Rate tests has been made on an
BLE only MT8852B
BLE option not installed Displays when a BLE test RUN request is sent to a non BLE
option enabled unit
BLE DLE option not installed Displays when an attempt is made to use low energy data
length extension functions when the option is not installed.
Communication timeout The EUT has not acknowledged a communication from the
MT8852B and the MT8852B has run out of retries.
Connection ended by local host The MT8852B ended the connection with the EUT.
Connection ended, low resource The reason the EUT ended the connection was reported as
due to low resources.
Connection failed The ACL or SCO connection failed to be established.
Connection lost The EUT has disconnected with an unrecognized
error/reason code.
Connection lost, timed out The MT8852B has not received any communication from the
EUT for a defined period of time. The default time is 10
seconds. It can be set under Config \ MT8852B \ RXTX
settings “Link timeout”.
Connection made (n:time) When option 15 is enabled, the connection number and time
are in the following format.
