Basic Rate Tests Running a Script in Standard Mode
7-4 PN: 13000-00205 Rev. N MT8852B Operation Manual
7-5 Basic Rate Tests (Not available on MT8852B-043)
Output Power Test
If “Test type” is set to “Loopback”, the MT8852B transmits a pseudo random data payload
(PRBS9) of the longest supported type (DH5, DH3 or DH1), to the EUT. The EUT loops the
data back to the MT8852B at its maximum output power and the MT8852B measures the
received power.
If “Test type” is set to “Tx mode”, the MT8852B sends a Poll packet to the EUT which
responds with a packet as defined in the “Packet type” field.
The table below details the test conditions and the associated default settings. Permitted
variations from the default setting are detailed in the “User Range” column.
