EDR Differential Phase Test
In this test the EUT transmits a packet with a defined PRBS9 payload. The payload of the
received packet is demodulated and compared with the defined ideal packet to give a
resultant symbol error rate. The Bluetooth 2.0 specification stipulates that zero errors be
detected in 99% of 100 packets transmitted. The specification requires this test to be
performed only on 2-DH1 and 3-DH1 packets on channel 0.
The table below details the test conditions and the associated default settings. Permitted
variations from the default setting are detailed in the “User Range” column.
Results
1. Position the cursor at "Diff phase" in the EDR Script menu.
2. Press the [Results] soft key.
