Basic Rate Tests Running a Script in Standard Mode

Power Control Test
If “Test type” is set to “Loopback”, the MT8852B transmits a DH1 (or user-defined packet
type) with a pseudo random data payload (PRBS 9).
If “Test type” is set to “Tx mode”, the MT8852B sends a Poll packet to the EUT which
responds with a packet as defined in the “Packet type” field.
A power measurement cycle sets the EUT output power to its maximum, steps it down to the
minimum, and then back to the maximum, one step at a time. For each power step a number
of data packets are sent to the EUT and looped back to the MT8852B.
The table below details the test conditions and the associated default settings. Permitted
variations from the default setting are detailed in the “User Range” column.
Results
1. Position the Cursor at "Power control" in the Script menu.
2. Press the [Results] soft key.
