Output Power Test
The MT8852B transmits a test control message over the RS232, USB, 2-Wire or USB-Adaptor
interface instructing the EUT to transmit reference test packets. The MT8852B measures the
average power of the received packets over at least 20% to 80% of the duration of the burst.
The table below details the test conditions and the associated default settings. Permitted
variations from the default setting are detailed in the “User Range” column.
Results
1. Position the cursor at "Output power" in the Script menu.
2. Press the [Results] soft key.
3. Press the third soft key (for example [2LE]) to cycle through results for other packet
types, if available. The second line of the display shows the packet type for the
currently displayed results.
