MT8852B Operation Manual PN: 13000-00205 Rev. N 7-43
The Output power results page displays.
Current pkt: Displays the average power of the last packet measured by the MT8852B.
The MT8852B identifies the p0 in the packet and measures the power in
each individual bit. Packet avg is the average power of all the measured
bits.
Pkt avg; Max: Displays the highest power measured of all of the Packet avg
measurements during the test.
Pkt avg; Min: Displays the lowest power measured of all of the Packet avg measurements
during the test.
Peak to avg: This is the dB value of the single bit with the highest power relative to the
average power of the packet. “Peak to avg” is sometimes referred to as
Crest factor.
4. Press the [Extended] soft key to display more detailed test results. Unlike the summary
page shown above, the extended pages are specific to each of the test scenarios. If a test
is performed at high, medium, and low frequencies, with hopping both on and off, there
would be six extended pages. An example of the first extended page for the output
power test is shown below.
5. Page through the extended screens with the soft key in the normal manner, or press the
[Summary] soft key to revert to the initial summary page.
