Carrier Drift Test
The carrier drift test performs a frequency drift measurement between two defined sections of
the Null packet transmitted by the EUT. The average frequency of the preamble is measured
as described for the initial carrier frequency test. This is then compared to the average
frequency of the four trailer bits in the Null packet.
The table below details the test conditions and the associated default settings. Permitted
variations from the default setting are detailed in the “User Range” column.
Results
Standard and single packet modes
1. Position the cursor at "Carrier drift" in the Script menu.
2. Press the [Results] soft key.
The Carrier drift results page displays.
