Low Energy Tests Running a Script in Standard Mode
7-48 PN: 13000-00205 Rev. N MT8852B Operation Manual
Next, for BLE and 2LE packet types, the MT8852B transmits a test control message
instructing the EUT to transmit reference test packets with an alternate ones and zeros
payload (10101010). This measurement is omitted when testing BLR8 packets because the
coding scheme used cannot generate this pattern.
The MT8852B calculates the average frequency of each 10101010 8-bit payload section. Then
it measures the deviation from the average frequency values for all 8-bit sections. These
values are called Δf2 max values.
This test is performed with hopping off, and the test is repeated until the number of packets
has been measured on each of the selected frequencies as set in the "Number of packets" field.
The table below details the test conditions and the associated default settings. Permitted
variations from the default setting are detailed in the “User Range” column.
