Modulation characteristics results for Long Range packets (BLR S=8) are different
from those of BLE and 2LE.
For this coding scheme, 10101010 patterns never appear in the payload, and it is
not possible to measure F2 average and F2 max. However, 11111111 data, when
passed through the S=8 encoder, becomes a repeating 00111100 pattern, which is
used to measure F1 average as before, and ‘F1 max lowest’ (worst case) instead
of F2 max.
Modulation characteristics measurements are not required for BLR S=2 signals.
