Configuring the MT8852B Configuration Reference
11-12 PN: 13000-00205 Rev. N MT8852B Operation Manual
[2LE] This soft key cycles around the available packet types: BLE, 2LE, BLR8
and BLR2, depending on the installed options. The title line at the top of
the display shows the type of packet currently being generated.
Pattern: The payload data pattern can be set from; PRBS9, 10101010, 11110000.
Freq: The channel frequency.
Power: Set the power of the signal to be generated.
SyncWord: The Bluetooth low energy reference packet synchronization word can be
set by the user. The default value is as defined in the Bluetooth core
specification to 71764129. Many devices can only be tested when the
default sync word is used.
Pkt Len: Sets the length of the transmitted packet (option 34).
Note the packet length will force the signal generator to comply with the
minimum allowed packet spacings shown in the table below.
Mode: When set to Count, the number signal generator transmits the number of
packets set in the "Packets" field then stops transmitting. When set to
“Repeat”, the signal generator continuously transmits the number of
packets set, resulting in a continuous transmission of the defined packets.
Spacing: The packet repetition rate can be increased from the default Bluetooth
time slot time of 625 us up to 9999 µs.
Packets: Defines the number of packets that will be sent when the [Start] softkey
is pressed and “Mode” is set to “Count”.
Dirty: This allows the packets to have the dirty table from the BLE sensitivity
test of the selected script applied.
Alt CRC: When set to ON, the MT8852B intentionally corrupts every alternate
CRC value. This is used for the BLE packet integrity test.
