Current BER: Displays the BER as measured in the last 10 returned packets.
Overall BER: Displays the BER for all the returned packets.
Current FER: Displays the FER as measured in the last 10 returned packets.
3. Press the [1 of 3] soft key to move to the second page.
4. Press the [2 of 3] soft key to move to the third page.
FER due to CRC: Displays the number of packets returned that had a Cyclic
Redundancy Check (CRC) error. These packets are used in
BER calculations.
FER due to length: Displays the number of packets returned with incorrect
payload lengths. This will also result in a CRC error. These
packets are used in BER calculations.
FER due to lost packets:A lost packet will result from the MT8852B under the
following conditions:
• Not recognizing the sync word header as being correct.
• The packet failing the Header Error Correction (HEC)
• No packet received during the expected time slot.
• NACK packet is received.
