l Set the Flow Rate to High for all protocols except the 1µL test; use the Medium
flow rate for this test.
l
Optionally, choose to Require the specific cassette type under test.
l LHC/Touch screen users: select Advanced options: retain the default
Positioning settings.
l
Define a Pre-dispense: set the volume to 10 µL and the Number of
Pre-dispenses (cycles) to 2.
l RAD single-tube cassettes: define the Well Map to dispense to one row only.
Then, perform the remaining steps in this procedure on that row only. Remember
to calculate the results based on 12 wells, rather than 96.
5. Place a clean/new microplate on the balance and tare the balance.
6. Put the Tube Organizer into the test fluid vessel and Prime the tubing until any
large air bubbles are removed.
7. Run the dispense protocol.
8. Place the plate on the balance and record the Total Dispense Weight in the
worksheet.
9. Using a calibrated hand pipette or the Peri-pump, add the specified amount of
deionized water to each well to raise the fluid level for optimal reading.
