DescriptionSetting
In the Cisco Business Edition 3000 Administrative
Interface, you can add, edit, and delete phone
configurations. For more information on how to add
and edit various phone configurations, see the settings
that display on the Phones page ( Users/Phones >
Phones ).
This setting indicates whether all the phone settings
menus are functional. From the drop-down list box,
select the type of phone settings menu that you want
the users to access. Select one of the following
options:
Enable Access to All Menu Items—Select this
option if you want to change the phone network
configuration, ring type, and volume on the
phone.
Restrict Access to User Preferences and Volume
Settings—Select this option if you want users
to access only the User Preference and Volume
Settings. Users will not be able to access any
other default settings on the phone.
Disable Access to Settings Menu—Select this
option if you do not want users to access any of
the phone options. Also, the users cannot adjust
the ringer volume or save any volume settings.
By default, Enable Access to All Menu Items is
enabled.
