Troubleshooting Issues
If a problem occurs with your system, the Health Summary page displays a red cross next to the real-time
status category and a link that you can click that displays information about how to resolve the issue.
• A critical internal software component is down and the system must be restarted, page 429
• The conference bridge is experiencing an issue, page 429
• The system has reached maximum capacity for multiparty conferencing, page 429
• A large number of devices (phones) are unable to register with the system possibly indicating a problem
with the internal network or network services, page 430
• The gateway is experiencing an issue, page 430
• One or more gateway ports are unable to communicate with the telephone network, page 431
• The system is unable to communicate with the telephone network through the SIP trunk, page 431
• Problems have been detected with the gateways connecting the system to the telephone network, page

• The system is unable to offload call detail records, page 432
• The maximum storage capacity for call detail records has been exceeded, page 433
• The DNS service is incorrectly configured or unreachable, page 433
• A required service failed, page 433
• A problem has been detected with the system hardware, page 434
• A firmware update is required for MCS 7890, page 434
• An MCS 7890 is experiencing hardware issues, page 434
