2.17 Automation Manager
The ICS-3000 Automation Manager (AM) provides a mounting location for
various components used for performing matrix elimination, large volume pre-
concentration, post-column reagent addition, and other functions.
Each AM consists of a tray on which valves and other components are installed
(see Figure 2-37
). The tray is installed in the upper compartment of the DC (see
Figure 2-13
). Connections to other components in the system (pump, injection
valve, reagent reservoirs, etc.) depend on the application. Refer to Chapter 3
for
the configuration schematic for your application.
The AM is available in the following configurations:
