3. Select either Open Systems or S/390.
If you select Open Systems, set Interoperability Mode as
follows:
• Select McDATA Fabric 1.0 if all switches in the fabric are in
this list:
– ED-1032
– ED-64M
– DS-32M
– DS-32M2
– DS-16M
– DS-16M2
• Select Open Fabric 1.0 if one or more switches in the fabric are
not in the above list.
4. Click Activate to save the configuration and close the window.
5. Set the switch on line.
a. Click Maintenance on the Product Manager menu bar and
select Set Online State on the drop-down menu.
b. On the Set Online State window, click Set Online.
6. If you are finished configuring the switch, back up the
configuration data. For more information, refer to Backing Up and
Restoring the Configuration on page 7-12.
