Using Logs
Hardware Log
The Hardware log displays information on FRUs that have been
inserted and/or removed.
Figure 6-4 Hardware Log
Each log entry includes the following:
◆ Date/Time — Date and time of the insertion/removal of the FRU.
◆ FRU — Name of the inserted/removed FRU:
◆ Position — Physical position relative to identical components in
the switch.
◆ Action — Inserted or Removed.
◆ Part Number — Part number of the component.
◆ Serial Number — Serial number of the component.
CTP = Control processor
FAN = Single fan module
PWR = Power supply module
