Exporting a Configuration Report
Use this option to save an ASCII file of all configuration data
currently saved in switch NV_RAM to your hard drive or a diskette.
Use any desktop publishing application to open the ASCII file for
viewing or printing.
This file cannot be used to set configuration parameters through the Product
Manager.
Report Data
Data in the file includes:
◆ Product identification — Data input into the Configure
Identification dialog box.
◆ Operating parameters — Data input into the Operating
Parameters dialog box.
◆ Port parameters — Data input into the Configure Ports dialog
box.
◆ SNMP parameters — Data input into the Configure SNMP dialog
box.
◆ Active zoning configuration — This specifies the active zone and
zone members, if set, and whether the default zone is enabled or
disabled.
Export Procedure
To export a configuration report:
1. Click Configure on the Product Manager menu bar and select
Export Configuration Report on the drop-down menu.
This displays the Export Configuration Report dialog box
(Figure 5-26).
