V CAUTION!
To avoid damaging the pins or the processor, do not force it into the
processor socket.

Ê Close the holder (1).
V CAUTION!
The holder must fall down by itself. Do not close with force, because
soldering pads may be damaged.
Ê Press the lever slowly downward (2) until it is hooked in again (3).
11.2.5 Applying the thermal paste to the processor
surface
I – For the Japanese market, the service engineer must follow the
instruction provided separately.
– If the processor replacement kit contains a new heat sink, a thin layer
of thermal compound has already been pre-applied to its lower
surface. In this case, please proceed with section "Installing the heat
sink" on page 220.
