Using LV Contrast
The LV Contrast application works with the M5Sc-D, 3Sc-RS,
6VT-D and 6Tc-RS probes.
1. Press Probe on the Touch panel.
A list of the connected probes with respective applications is
displayed.
2. Select LV Contrast application.
3. Turn on and adjust Tissue Visualization if needed, to
re-orient the probe after the application has been selected.
4. Once oriented, turn off Tissue Visualization for optimized
contrast detection and perform the acquisition.
NOTE: If the amount of contrast injected is too high, you may press
Flash to destroy some of the contrast.
5. To continuously monitor the view orientation while acquiring
contrast data, press Simultan. to activate a side-by-side
view of tissue and contrast visualization.
Always read and follow carefully the manufacturer instructions
on the contrast agent label.
