9.2 Function Checks
Function checks performed by the user guarantee permanent functional and
operational readiness of the corpuls

. It is an important supplement to the
automatic self test performed internally in the corpuls

frequency of use of the corpuls

, it is recommended that you perform the
function check at least once a day, for example at the beginning of a shift.
The complete function check of the corpuls

is divided into:
• function check of the corpuls

• function check of the power supply
• function check of the accessories
Function check of the corpuls

comprises a visual inspection of the outer
housing and a function check of the functionalities/options of the corpuls
3
.
Function check of the power supply gives the user information on the current
state of charge of the batteries.
Function check of the accessories and consumables guarantees the operational
readiness of all equipment required during use of the corpuls

. Furthermore
the accessories are visually checked for defects and completeness.

explanations and measures in chapter 10 Procedure in Case of Malfunctions,
page 233.
