Spare Parts and Consumables, p. 224) contains approved accessory
equipment for IBP monitoring.
For further information see the operating instructions from the manufacturer of
the transducer system.
The following description of invasive blood pressure monitoring only takes into
account the operating steps pertaining to the corpuls

the individual transducer systems. Please read and follow the corresponding
manufacturer’s operating instructions and accompanying documents.
Disposable items of the transducer system must not be re-used under any
circumstances. Please read and follow the respective manufacturer’s operating
instructions and accompanying documents.
6.8.2 Preparing Invasive Blood Pressure Monitoring
1. Connect the plug of the first transducer cable to the "IBP-1" socket at the
patient box.
2. Connect the plug of the second transducer cable to the "IBP-2" socket at
the patient box if one or more invasive pressure measurements are to be
taken.
3. Open the transducer system to balance the static and atmospheric
pressure.
4. Perform zero calibration of the transducer cable:
In the main menu, open "IBP" ► "Calib. P {measuring channel}" and
confirm the calibration with the jog dial (for further information, see chapter
