9 Maintenance and Tests
9.1 General Information
Regular maintenance and testing guarantee permanent functional and
operational readiness of the corpuls
3
.
Therefore, make sure that the device and the accessories are in good working
condition before each mission by performing a full function and visual check on
the corpuls
3
.
This way, electrical and mechanical malfunctions may be either prevented or
detected early on and eliminated quickly. If difficulties occur during the visual
and function check, see chapter 10 Procedure in Case of Malfunctions,
page 233 for specific measures to take. Please follow these directions.
Warning
If the malfunction cannot be remedied with these measures, please inform
customer service. In extreme cases, it may be necessary to take the
corpuls
3
out of commission.
For guidance, a checklist for standardised testing of the corpuls
3
is included in
the appendix of this user manual.
The following schedule for maintenance and tests shows recommended
intervals for performing checks. Compliance with legal regulations relating to
safety and metrological checks must be guaranteed. Furthermore, it is
recommended to schedule regular function checks at the location of the
corpuls
3
(rescue equipment, location, hospital, etc.) to guarantee full
operational readiness at all times.
For further information on maintenance and testing of the corpuls
