For changing the battery on the patient box first switch it off and then change
the battery within approx. 30 seconds. Under certain circumstances, the set
time/date may be lost.
The rechargeable battery is easier to remove if the respective module is held
facing the floor.
9.7 Cleaning, Disinfection and Sterilisation

and the accessories must not be sterilised in
an autoclave, under pressure or with gas, unless expressly indicated.

immersed in a cleaning or disinfecting liquid;
sterilised with hot water, steam or gas.

immersed in a cleaning or disinfecting liquid.
The manufacturer recommends solely the use of cleaning products and
disinfectants itemised in the current list of the Robert Koch-Institut (RKI).

9.7.1 Monitoring Unit, Patient Box and
Defibrillator/Pacer
Prerequisite: the modules are switched off and disconnected from the power
supply.
1. Separate the compact device into the three modules.
2. Unplug all the cables on the patient box.
3. Remove the patient box from the accessory bag.
4. Disconnect the shock paddles from the therapy master cable and remove
from the defibrillator holders.
5. Clean the corpuls

Rub the external surfaces of the three modules with a paper towel.
Disinfect the corpuls

:
Wipe the device with an authorised disinfectant.
Make sure the disinfectant has had sufficient contact time with the surface.
1. Separate the device into the three modules.
2. Wipe the infrared interface of the monitoring unit with a cloth.
