Sensor
Caution
Never apply liquid directly to the sensors.
1. Moisten a soft cloth with an alcohol-based cleaning solution.
2. Wipe the surface with the cloth.
Avoid scratches on the surface of the CO
2
sensors. Measurement can be
impaired and/or rendered impossible by a scratched surface.
9.7.7 NIBP Cuffs
Clean the connecting hose and NIBP cuff with soap solution.
Disinfect the NIBP cuff with one of the disinfectants itemised in the current list of
disinfectants of the RKI.
9.7.8 IBP Transducer Cable
Please read and follow the manufacturer’s operating instructions enclosed with
the IBP transducer.
9.7.9 Temperature Sensor
Please read and follow the operating instructions from the YSI company
enclosed with the temperature sensor.
9.7.10 Accessory Bag and Carrying Strap
Roughly clean the accessory bag and carrying belt. Put both in a disinfectant
solution. Subsequently wash the accessory bag and carrying belt in the washing
machine (30 °C) using a laundry net and detergent for delicates. Do not use the
spin cycle. If possible, allow to air dry.
